When my daughter developed her grade 4 brain tumour,almost the first thing we read was a report in the doctors´ own magazine, the Lancet, which said that the drugs didn´t work. No orthodox treatment offered hope to a young girl given 6 months to live. So we had to find alternatives that could help her.
And we did.
Several years later two top doctor’s asked me to write down what I had found out, so I wrote the best selling cancer book ‘Everything you need to know to help you beat cancer’. This book along with 5 others (including ‘The Rainbow Diet and how it can help you beat cancer’)’ shared that knowledge but also provided funds for our charity.
Now everybody can share the very latest informnation from around the world – on possible cancer causes, and complementary and alternative cancer therapies.
Seven years later and CANCERactive has a 2,000 page web site, and is Britain’s number 1 Holistic (or, Integrative) cancer site. We are quite probably the most comprehensive cancer web site in Britain, covering everything from the latest drugs to natural compounds, from surgery to Photodynamic Therapy, and from radiotherapy to Diet Therapies, all writain in easy-to-understand language – the magazine on the web.
We also have a unique 68 page magazine called icon (Integrative Cancer and Oncology News)which goes to over 520 hospitals, cancer centres and libraries with health sections in the UK.
